Allo!!

Just got off the bus, back in Toronto, and had an AWESOME weekend at Otakuthon with my friends and all my cosplayers that I shot with!


I'm quite tired and I haven't really been asleep in over 24 hours, but I had to do some revisions for my timetable for school and upload my photo shoots, so I figured I'd type up a journal about the weekend.

We left Toronto early Thursday morning, not sleeping the night before, got to Montreal around 1pm, and spent most of the day wandering the city and getting reacquainted with it, and eating some awesome pork buns from China Town.
Friday, we got up very early because we went to bed early the night before, had tons of time to get ready, get everyone into their cosplays for Nightmare Before Christmas, and I headed off to my shoot at 3pm. As usual we all took turns watching *kaiser-mony's table in the Artist's Alley. I did a bit of running around because I was trying to find Durarara!! on DVD, but I was only able to find separate volumes and they were VERY over priced. I ended up buying a Shizuo plushie and got to go to the autograph signing with Crispin Freeman. He was very nice and I got to meet a few other fans in the line. I also gave him a Kyon charm that I picked up in the Dealer's Room.

After that we did some photos, we went out to get some dinner. We wanted sushi, but the place was already closed, so we went to Burger King instead... Some good times had there. XD

Saturday we got a bit of a late start, but nothing too bad. I had my shoots and came back to let my friends get some photos with ~DROOphotographer. (Those pics are so badass!) I looked for some other stuff to buy, not finding any better prices on the DVD's I wanted. Later that night, my friends got a photo shoot with Mike from eleventhphotograph and I did some minor assisting. It was fun getting to see how other photographers work and it was great meeting so many at this con. We were pretty tired after the shoot, so we went back to the hotel and hung out, watched some movies and such.

Sunday we got up nice and early, but were a bit late. I did shoots again, unfortunately one got cancelled due to illness (I hope you feel better!! )
The tables was super busy and Mony was selling out of a lot of stuff. She almost ran out of all her prints! So popular!
After I did my final shoot, we all got together with ~DROOphotographer, ~sanji151, ~ryoky28, and bunch of others for dinner. Lots of good larfs and pics from that one. XD

Monday, we hung out in Montreal, went to China Town again, Old Montreal, had our sushi (found an AMAZING place that just opened up apparently) where everything was SO delicious!!
Before we left the city though, we got Dragon's Beard, bubble tea, and a few shots and beers. I had my Liquid Cocaine shot (Y U BURN SO GOOD?!) Then we went to the bus terminal at around 11pm, got on our bus, drove back to Toronto (not before having to change buses in kingston due to a tire issue) and then got back about 3 hours ago.

So it was a great trip!! Met lots of amazing people and had lots of a great photos from the shoots. I can't wait to start posting them!!

So, now I'm gonna go crash and die for a while. TTYL!!
