Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

New iMac

Allo allo!

I am on my brand new (refurbished) iMac! :D

21.5" of wonderful HD quality! I can't believe how my work looks on a proper screen! Geez, I need to go back and edit some of my photos. :P

Getting my stuff moved over from my laptop has been... interesting.
My laptop was slowly starting to die for the last 2 months. I only had it for about 2 years, but it was a hand-me-down from my dad who used it for 3 years before I got it. So 5 years... that's ancient in apple technology.
In any case, the fan kept running SUPER high when the laptop wasn't very hot, it made an obscene amount of noise, I had to shut it down every 5 minutes because the programs I was working on would freeze when the fan started to run high, and then the fan stopped working (considering I replaced that same fan about 5 months ago with my own hands and tools, along with my boyfriend who assisted). THEN, it started running again, but still made horrible noise. So because I wasn't able to really do work for longer than 5 minutes, especially considering how vital my computer is to my school work, I got a desktop to replace my laptop. And MAN!!! I am LOVIN' this iMac!

I watched Afro Samurai last night with my boyfriend on the iMac and the quality!.... Holy sheet! The quality is stellar!

I'm mainly posting this journal, because I'm too lazy to start some sketches I need for tomorrow, and my transfers are still running on the iMac so I'm waiting for them to finish.

Anyways, that's all! :D

Oh man. I can totally relate with the loud fan and overheating. I've opened up my own laptop a few times to try and fix the problem, but it's always come back worse later on :( One of these days I'll have the extra cash to buy a new one!
