SO! MTAC has come and gone once again.

It was pretty cool con.

Some issues here and there, but more or less with the way Hobbystar was running things. They have been seriously off their game for the last year. Security was rude, not enough space was rented for the event, so people were getting fenced into a tiny space like live stock. It was just stupid.

But otherwise it was AWESOME!!!
Got to meet and hang out with some awesome peeps, like ~Glay, *TechnoRanma, ~Anatra, *SutekiGo, and of course my buddies, ~temeluchus, ~Aerialdown, *kaiser-mony and Jess.

Weekend started out with me partying it up with my hun, ~yeah-def-not for her 22nd birthday, then heading over to *kaiser-mony's place to stay the night with her and ~Aerialdown. Got up next day, went to the con, met up with ~bellebleu and her boyfriend, James for our Hetalia shoot which I'll be posting soon. Once that finished, I went down to the Dealer's Room, went to meet the Intrepid Host himself, Trevor Devall. Gave him the poster I made for his podcast, VoicePrint with Trevor Devall and Guests and he signed a copy of my own. It was cool because he recognized me when I came up to meet him. XD I felt so special. But yeah, I've written into his show and I have him on Facebook, so it was cool that he remembered me.
After that, I was supposed to have a shoot with ~Shiruba-Wolf but she had a scheduling mishap and so we rescheduled her shoot for Sunday, which worked out great since my Sunday slot was still open. I chatted with ~DROOphotographer a bit at the con too.

Later on on Saturday, we did a big Hetalia photoshoot with everyone, but we sadly were missing our China ~nikichi. (And we were so close to having all the Axis and Allies together too). But it was still a great shoot, of which will probably be reviewed in more detail by *SutekiGo and *kaiser-mony as soon as I can get the photos from the shoot to them. (Damn MegaUpload takes too much time to upload).

After the Hetalia shoot, we went for dinner with everyone at Jack Astor's, and after a long day, we went home, got "some" sleep, then headed off for Day Two.

I did my shoot with ~Shiruba-Wolf, went to the Dealers Room, bought Afro Samurai on DVD for $15 (SCORE!), then proceeded to have a mini-shoot with ~temeluchus who was Askua from Evangelion in the yellow sundress, but it was very cold outside so it didn't last very long, and then did a shoot with *kaiser-mony where we got to put fake blood into her eye to make it look like it was gouged out... sounds gross but the photos look awesome! XD

Again, they shall be posted soon... I hope.

Unfortunately, I had to leave early on Sunday because I had to drive back to Oakville, so I missed out on sushi. But school and homework awaited... and still awaits as I write this journal (procrastination, gotta love it!).

But yeah, that's pretty much the highlights of the con.

My next convention will be Anime North 2011!

It's looking very likely that I'll be able to attend all 3 days this year, so keep posted for the AN 2011 photo shoot schedule in the next coming month.
