Okay, everything I said in the last journal entry about being happy... screw it!
I lost my wallet yesterday... I left it in a Tim Horton's before work and instead of finding it in a lost and found at the Tim Horton's where some kind person gave it after finding it (which I had always done after finding credit cards or cell phones), I get a phone call that my credit card (that I had YET to use!!) was being used on gas and other transactions. So I cancelled my cards, drove over to the police station and filed a police report. I kind of wish the system made it easier to replace stolen documentation. How is it I get stuck with all this paperwork and stress while the person who stole my wallet and used my credit card is running off scott free?
Worst part is, I have a history of forgetting where I put my SIN card, so I kept it in my wallet.... can you see now why I'm pissed? Yeah, my credit card is bad, but I won't be charged because it was stolen and TD will reimburse me. My driver's license is missing, but if it gets swiped, there's an alert on it. And luckily I had no cash in my wallet besides some spare change... but my SIN card... that's my fucking identity! I'm screwed for life if that gets hacked. True, it's my fault for keeping it in my wallet instead of somewhere safe, but that doesn't make a criminal any less guilty for trying to steal it. And this is the first year I'm going to OSAP for loans. I swear if I have issues with OSAP because of this, someone's getting a bullet in the head...
Also, due to this set back, I now have no immediate cash to use for Anime North. Luckily my mom is loaning me money, but I need to go to the bank and get that sorted out. *sits in corner and mumbles angrily*
So yeah... Kind of a bad time for this to happen, but I'm doing the paperwork, going tomorrow to get my documents replaced after work, and then need a new wallet... T^T I LOVED THAT WALLET!! It was so pretty and I got it in Niagara Falls! WHAAAA?!?!?!?!

And the FML marathon continues! Today I found out my boss wants me to work on the same weekend I'm going on a camping trip. And he basically said, "If you can't commit to it, I'll find someone else who can". I feel so badly about this because I was so excited for that trip, and now I can't do it without fear of either losing my job or forever being hated by my boss.
Also, my landlord wants me to live with a guy next year, despite the fact I have a boyfriend and I told her I'd prefer female roommates. I've never lived with a guy before, let alone one I don't know personally. She says he's a nice clean and polite guy, but still... when it comes to hygiene, there are just things women and men do that only their partners or family members understand. Seriously girls, would you want beard hair everywhere on your bathroom sink if it was from someone you just meet, and guys don't need to see used tampons... I'm just so uncomfortable with the idea, but I'd rather live in the same place I have for the last 3 years than leave and find some place new because of the roomie's gender.
So yeah... Wallet is stolen, credit card used, major vacation plan ruined, and roommate situation slightly effed up... this is such an about-face from 3 days ago... I was so happy. and Now everything has gone to shit! I just hope it doesn't rain for Anime North like the weather is being predicted... I can't take anymore disappointments.

lol i have so little time to plan trips now. i'm so depressed I can't go camping this summer because of work.

As for the roommate situation, honestly, living with guys isn't all that bad. I've had a lot of weird roommate situations in the last year, and honestly, I'd take a guy my age over some things. My one landlord was desperate for rent and decided she shouldn't just stick to students, in a small, 3 bedroom "apartment" (the common area was just a kitchen),in the end i was living with a 60+ year old man, and a married couple. Thats when I decided to gtfo, they we're very nice people, but who knows what else she could have let in, and thats especially scary now with the recent murder, and I was the only long term tenant. I'd say don't shut out the idea completely, maybe ask to at least get to meet him and have a bit of say, because you're the one that needs to live with him, not her. You've been living there for 3 years, I don't think that's an unreasonable request. I just moved in with a few guys (one I know only kinda), everyones here kinda part time, and I haven't even met one of them yet, and I don't think I've ever been so comfortable in a place in the first week haha. I was really nervous at first because I had never met the one guy I'm going to be sharing with for the summer, so far he's pretty great to hangout with
