| Which conventions will you be attending in 2013? Anime North (May 24-26) Colossalcon (June 6-9) Otakuthon (August 16-18) *hopefully Fan Expo (August 22-25)*hopefully Youmacon (Nov.)*hopefully Will you definitively be at the conventions listed? Until a schedule for booking shoots for the convention is posted, there is always a chance I will not be going, simply because of work. However, my schedules are usually posted a month before the scheduled convention. Can I book a shoot with you now? Unless my schedule for that convention is posted on my DeviantART journals, please do not message me asking for a time slot. I will not reserve slots in the interest of keeping everything fair and even for everyone who wants a shoot. Please wait until a schedule is posted. Schedules are usually posted a month in advance of a convention. Are you willing to change the time for a shoot on your schedule? Depending on the cosplayer, I am willing in certain circumstances to shift the schedule so long as there are no conflicts on my end with other shoots or my personal schedule. What information do you need so that I can book a time slot when the schedule is posted? I need 5 pieces of information so that I can book you for a time slot: 1. Your name/s (real name, not username). 2. Your DeviantART and/or Cosplay.com name/s (if applicable). 3. What you will be cosplaying (character, series, and if applicable, the specific outfit of that character if they wear multiple outfits in a series). 4. The time slot you are interested in booking, plus one back-up time if your first choice is no longer available. 5. Your e-mail and cell phone number (cell phone ONLY for Canadian conventions and Canadian cosplayers). If I am provided with these 5 things, you are likely to get a time slot. If not, I will ignore the request. I have shot with you before, do I get any special treatment? Can I reserve a time slot? Sorry, no. Regardless of whether I have shot with you before or not, I ask that EVERYONE submit a request for a shoot the same way to make sure it is fair and even, as well as consistent. I will not hold or reserve slots. Do you charge for shoots? Yes, I do charge. $20 = 1 cosplayer $25 = 2 cosplayers $30 = 3 cosplayers How many photos can I expect from the shoot? For 1 cosplayer: 7-8 final photos. For 2 cosplayers: 5-6 individual final photos, 3-4 pair final photos. For 3 cosplayers: 4-5 individual final photos, 2-3 group final photos. Do all the cosplayers in a group have to be from the same series? No, you and 1 or 2 friends can cosplay whatever you want, you don't have to be all from the same series or have a similar theme. I have a group larger than 3 people, can you still shoot with us? Sorry, no. I have a group limit of 3 cosplayers. I will not shoot a group of 4 or more. Will you send me the unedited photos after a shoot? No, I do not release my unedited photos. It's simply a personal thing. How I edit my photos is a big part of my photography and I am rarely comfortable with giving someone the RAW files. Can you edit a few more photos after I have received the final photos? No. I usually do not go back and edit more photos from a shoot that has already been edited and sent out to the cosplayer. I do not give more or less than what is promised. How long can I expect to wait for my final photos after a convention? The wait time is usually between 1-4 weeks. I try to get a convention done in a month, so if you're the last person I shot with at a con, the longest you'll have to wait is a month. Can I submit your photos for publication or contests? Yes. As part of the agreement, the photos you receive from a shoot are yours to do with as you please, including publication and competitions. If there is a chance to submit the photo with my watermark or with a credit of my photography, I would appreciate it. |
